Aruna Agarwal, the passionate owner of Kidzee (Pre-primary) & Mount Litera Zee School (Primary) Powai, is a qualified child psychologist/behavior therapist – ABA and Access Consciousness practitioner with a master’s in psychology. Her unwavering dedication to education and child psychology, spanning over 20 years, has made her a renowned figure in the field.
Over the course of 20 years, Aruna has constantly focused on educating kids with the right life skills, helping them evolve as beautiful beings, and working on the curriculum to tie it all together. She firmly believes that children are the future of society and that raising them with the proper foundation is of high priority to their and society’s future. Her teaching provides academic skills and a significant emphasis on creative skills.
Aruna has always aspired to create an institution-driven framework that empowers children, their parents, and extended family. Despite the word ‘inclusion’ becoming a buzz nowadays, few people truly comprehend it. There is a need to drive awareness about how inclusion can help even regular school-going children.
They can evolve better as a cohesive and socially responsible society that is mindful of the differences and the need to respect those differences. Driven by the belief that the best time to drive inclusivity and learning aptitude in children is in the early years, Aruna has been conducting awareness about the subject and sensitizing other educators to make them and regular school children understand the issue and facilitate seamless integration of children with diversity in her school.
She identified a growing gap in guidance for families, and the information they obtain from social media needs to be more scientifically accurate at times. She focused on creating solutions that lead to the holistic development of the children and enable them to grow as responsible adults. Being a behavior analyst, Aruna has been able to help children develop academically and perform well in other aspects of their lives. She strongly advocates inclusivity, a concept India has yet to understand fully.
The educator par excellence runs a social trust named Viola that delivers high-quality education for primary school students. Currently, her educational facility works as a one-stop solution for children between 2 and 10 years of age who face challenges related to behavior, language development, or attention issues. She plans to gradually expand her awareness and integration into high school and beyond.
Aruna is an optimist; according to her, self-belief can give people the ability to handle any situation. Her excellent work in education and child psychology has driven constant word-of-mouth publicity for her school and other initiatives. She overcame human resources and capital challenges during her entrepreneurial journey through her self-belief and commitment to the grand vision.
